The last...

This is the last post I'm making on this blog. Those who know the reason, don't say anything. Those who don't, please don't ask me. I don't have to right to tell you to mind your own business but I do have the right to tell you to stay the fuck out of mine. Basically, everyone should just shut the fuck up and stay the fuck out of my business.

I'm now very well rested. 16 hours of sleep will do that to you.

Assumption = waste of (gray matter + resultant newtons)

Bad habit. Must quit.

Music and buses

I can't seem to be able to be comfortable on the bus without listening to music. Hence, I always have some sort of gizmo that I can plug into. The monotonous rumbling of the engine and wheels going relentlessly mile after mile drives me crazy. It wasn't so bad a few years back when not all the buses were air-conditioned. At least then, I could sit by the window and enjoy the night breeze and take in what ever little sights there are along the way.

Now, the improvements to public buses just annoy me. That fucked up tv thing plays reruns of shows and whatever fucking gay shit that networks don't want to put on the air.

Well, it's not just the improvements that annoy me. There's the age-old favourite of all time. The bus you are waiting for never comes. Yes, yes, yes, a watched kettle never boils. I've heard of that proverb. Fuck that shit!

Every fucking time I wait, it's late! And when I'm not waiting for it, it's like the fucking bus is just waiting at the bus stop ready for me to board. Sometimes, it gets so bad, I get the feeling that the bus company is behind some conspiracy to just fuck me over by wasting my time. I'm quite free now but that doesn't mean that I enjoy wasting my fucking time. I'm quite sure even Bill Gates would bitch about paying $1000 for a bus ride. Just because there is an abundance of resources doesn't mean that people won't mind wasting it. Ever try asking Einstein if he minds being just a little dumber

The last few days...(fine, you got me! I couldn't think of a title)

Music

The last jamming session was quite a blast. Damien was amazing on both the guitar and the drums. Haven't seen a lot of drummers myself though, aside from the owner of "Roomful of Blues". Damien can be pretty much the speed-freak on the guitar and with the right beat, he starts shredding ala Malmsteen.

Then there was Michael, Goi's friend. He played the bass and was "rusty" personified that day. He says the bass hasn't been out of the case for 10 years. And judging by the strings on it, seems he wasn't exaggerating.

I have to admit that the chemistry wasn't nearly as volatile as the previous session with Dominic. It was more than compensated with the drums.

Climbing

My climbing frequency has been pretty consistent. Although my motivation to improve/regain never sky-rocketed. I still don't feel the desire to improve/regain. Climbing just isn't fun for me anymore. Still, I'm getting stronger by climbing. My progress is still pretty much the same as when I was motivated. Crimps are starting to get comfortable at the expense of my right middle finger, slopers are getting proverbially stickier at the expense of my wrists and, yes, campusing is now second nature. Only a matter of time before it becomes my primary method of solving cruxes.

All that crap I mentioned in the above paragraph means one thing and one thing only. Training, motivation, theories and all the other fucking mumbo-jumbo crap that people come up with to improve are as useful as bringing wood to a forest can be. People should just talk less and climb more if they really want to improve. Thinking about it, discussing about it and planning it isn't tangible and therefore a gigantic fucking waste of time.

A long time ago, I said...
STRONG is GOOD,
WEAK is BAD.

Until someone can prove to me how being strong is actually a disadvantage, I'll stand by what I said till the day I die.
